Orion Rose Kelly is a filmmaker, photographer, and video/photo editor based
in the Bay Area. Orion received her Dual B.A. in Film & Digital Media and Studio Art from UC Santa Cruz. Her photos and video installations have been exhibited at The J.P. Getty, Lighthouse LA, Soapbox Gallery, Mary Porter Sesnon Gallery, and Urban Decay in London.
Orion specializes in projects that involve violence and/or trauma, with a focus on Sexual Violence, Human Rights, Criminal Justice, and LGBTQ+ communities.
She recently finished her Academy Award nominated student documentary at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, about the growing violence against trans and queer women of color in Rio de Janeiro.
